  Re: Gear lash....

(...) One reason the sampling time can be high is a misguided attempt to "smooth" the times. I tried averaging out the last five values in a shift register and found it really slowed the thing down (my samples got really "steppy"). I switched to (...)   Gear lash....

Well, it looks like in the 11th hour I'm going to have to abandon my differential drive for Project Y....there is WAY too much play in the differential gear train, which makes tracking the light with the whole bot virtually impossible...   Re: Engine 5 Firehouse

Nice to see a MOC in one of the best 'new' lego colours. The sideways mounted bricks also compliment the building nicely. My only complaint would be the windows, they just don't do it for me for some reason... God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf (...) (18 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

(...) Well done. Good use of new grey (if only Lego would keep old alive too). I especially like how you did the wheels and undercarriage - very nice. I wonder if it would look good with those wheels scaled down to 6 wide? -Matt :) (19 years ago, 27-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

Warning--this post contains info about clone brands

As some of you may be aware, the two brands Cobi and Best-Lock merged not too long ago, thereby giving Cobi access to the US market and also sweeping that gosh-awful non-compatible Best-Lock stuff into the dustbin. Anyway, the first offerings from (...) (18 years ago, 28-Sep-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)
