| | Mac MPD Utility obsolescence
|
| Man, I just realized that my old (URL) MPD Utility> is still listed on LDraw.org. Frankly, I don't think there's still a need for it, and I wouldn't really trust it to "do the right thing" with any given MPD. It was sort of cobbled together as a (...) | | Re: Weren't we all expecting this??
|
| (...) Don't get too overjoyed. Since Lego does not make the bricks, never did make the plastic, who know were it is made. China comes to mind. And if it is like other toys and cat and dog food we may see more on this, Hopefully Lego has been (...) (17 years ago, 19-Oct-07, to lugnet.general)

| | Re: Talk me into Bley at BrickFest
|
| (...) I use both old-gray and bley indiscriminately. :o) Well, ok, not quite indisciminately, but I don't tend to worry about the change too much, and I'm a person who's very much a classic fan. I think part of the reason is that bley pieces tend to (...) (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.color, FTX)

| | S@H Bulk Bricks Lineup

| | why parts yellow (was Re: Sopwith Camel pictures)
|
| Frank Filz showed me a brick out of a sealed set from the 70's that had yellowed in the box, once opened over twenty years later. The box may have been near or in a store window, so it may have gotten UV through the box, but the parts in the same (...) (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.general)

| | Re: So I got this NXT thingy....

| (...) I have to agree with you, it does grow on you. I'm not opposed to the studless system. It offers a lot of flexibility. Like you I'm getting used to it. However I do think it's a tricky concept for kids at the FLL age. I think there is a (...) (18 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
