Re: The Old Testament Strikes Back

dude, this is tre cool.. very inspirational in your building outlook.. especially in "living bricks" such as minifigs and animals. you've inspired me to build a flock of sheep, btw. most of your buildings have a simplified beauty to them, but the (...) And how lazy do you have to be to not even take a new picture? It's not like (...) (17 years ago, 7-Feb-08, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: Obvious Chinese Rip-off

(...) I think that Todd is referring to how the set is a knock-off of the Maersk-branded tractor-trailer set that LEGO offered in the 90s. Comparing the picture of the Chinese set, it's clear that they've even ripped off the LEGO box art. Compare (...) (17 years ago, 7-Feb-08, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: Help identifying a set

(...) On the catalog in Brickset, there is an entry for the set listing it as "Pre-School Set" and the year 1976. I was guessing it was earlier, such as 73-74, based on the box art (relatively modern LEGO logo next to the old 5-color flag). Brickset (...) (17 years ago, 5-Feb-08, to lugnet.general, FTX)
