But they don't get any of the goodies: plastic name badge instead of LEGO name badge, no bingo, no goodie bag, no door prizes, etc. One parent asked to pay for his son so he (...)   mother load Feb. 2002

Well, my mom wasn't too impressed by a few boxes, that I brought home from my post office box... :-) I had my "modest" order from shop @ home (which contained several bulk packs of grey bricks, in different sizes (and shapes), and the Blacksmith (...) And selling MOC's like Blacksmith Shop and bulk bricks and statues like Sopwith Camel and... and... :) Although I see your point I'm not focusing on the IMHO bad (...)   Re: NXT-G print to text?

(...) Nice defense! I'm sure the NI engineers have anticipated the complexities you've mentioned. Hence, no scary print-to-text. However, I'm not asking for anything so ambitious. I hold that a print-to-text within the context of plain NXT-G (no (...) (16 years ago, 21-Jul-08, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.robotics)

Could someone please point me to a picture of a dark brown brick next to an old brown brick? I can't find anything on Brickshelf or Flickr. Thanks! Marc Nelson Jr. (16 years ago, 9-Jul-08, to lugnet.color, FTX)

Re: Help needed on gear spacing, and another question

(...) Technic worm gears are not really made to mesh with the 1x4 racks. The problem is that the racks do not have any pitch (the gear teeth are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rack). The worm gear, by definition, does have a pitch. In (...) (16 years ago, 3-Apr-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) If the company wants to create something new, a 9V monorail would be a useful brick based (the old monorail track connected via 1x4 plates) item good in any town, space, or aquazone layout.
