Re: The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb (HNK)

(...) Thanks :) (...) The building is indeed modular, it has been designed as such because I knew I would need to put it apart for transporting. Basically every wall section is a separate module (details on how it is "cut" can be seen (URL) if (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jan-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Town Plan 10184

Well, got mine today and had to put one together. The positives are 1. it simulated the old town plans with new elements. 2. there are a lot of hard to get parts in it (garage parts and brushes). 3. There are new elements that I have not seen (...) (17 years ago, 11-Jan-08, to lugnet.general)

  Re: off-color red bricks

(...) Our off-color red bricks are from the 60s, and the plastic they are made from seems to be at least as hard as ABS, so they aren't made from this third, softer plastic. They are most likely CA, but the fact that none of them are warped is (...) (17 years ago, 20-Dec-07, to lugnet.color)

  Re: Organizing Lego

(...) While neat, this may actually cause your bricks to warp slightly over time! How much, how badly, and in what ways depend on many things, but all in all, I think it's probably better to store your bricks separately. I find that this is more of (...)   Re: off-color red bricks

(...) I think there are two issues here: The original CA bricks (made until 1963) have a tendency to warp, shrink or become similarly unusable. The extent of warping or shrinking varies, depending on how the bricks were treated and stored over the (...) (17 years ago, 18-Dec-07, to lugnet.color)

  Re: off-color red bricks

(...) Well the lack of "grip" is a strong hint for CA anyway. Even if the bricks are not warped, there is some extent of shrinkage which causes the lack of grip - I think I heard from different sources that CA bricks never had too much grip to begin (...)
