Well, got mine today and had to put one together. The positives are 1. it
simulated the old town plans with new elements.  2. there are a lot of hard to
get parts in it (garage parts and brushes). 3.  There are new elements that I
have not seen elsewhere, 1x1 brick with vertical clip is one.  4. Very unique,
at least to me, of building things on their side and making them work rather
well.  5. Lots and lots of parts.
Cons are 1. The tolerence of some of the bricks.  The control sticks on top of
the taps are almost impossible to put together. 2.  Gaps beween some of the
bricks assembled on their sides,  3,  Stickers instead of printed bricks.  4.  I
was hoping of new parts that were closer to the older ones.  Signs and pumps
were assembled.  5.  No base board, just smaller baseplates.  6. Lots and lots
of very small parts in the element count.  7.  And finally, Lego shipping leaves
a lot to improve on.  I ordered two and the bottom one was fine, the one on top
was crushed because of the air packing used.  They just don't seem to get it;
that collectors would like the boxes undamaged.  I suggest that anyone that gets
damaged boxes call and complain and ask for replacements.  Maybe they will take
notice if there are a lot complaints from people who care.
     All in all, a very pleasent building experience, except my fingers were a
bit sore because of the tolerences.  I would say that it is a set that is worth
the price.
