I just sold mine when I sold my 6041 out of my BrickLink shop. When I came out of my dark ages, I pulled a HUGE box of bricks out of my parents attic and lo and behold, A PRISTINE BLACK SWORD! G'Day My 3 cents (Canadian, Eh). The most elegant solution I have seen to this problem I believe came from an old Milton Bradly 'Big Trak', in which the designers used a magnetic clutch. I tried Plasti Zap (found at Hobby Lobby) and it worked great. To test it, I glued two ruined 2x4 plates together. When I tried to pull them apart, the bricks actually broke before the bond did.
