  Re: Heddal Stavechurch

(...) Hi Matija, Thanks for the reply and info. The reason i chose for tan is that i thought it would be easier to find the pieces in large quantities. There are between 1300 and 1500 tan bricks 1x4 log used. Also, if you take a look around the (...) (17 years ago, 5-Oct-07, to lugnet.town)

  Yellow Castle Parts For Trade

Howdy, all! I recently dug up my old Lego sets & began to put some of them together, one of which is the 375 Yellow Castle. It's in pretty good shape but, as expected, I am missing some parts. UNEXPECTED was my finding I had EXTRA parts! So here's (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jul-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Uncouple Train Cars

Hi again, I heard somewhere that one should never ask a question that one is not prepared to answer oneself. So I took up my own challenge and, built a decoupler as well. Mine is 6 studs wide (facing the track) by 14 studs long (perpendicular to (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: what makes a legend?

(...) If you want to go "way back" to a set that's mostly built of generic bricks, I'd highly suggest 565 Moon Landing. Surely there would be compromises. As far as stickers go, this set had stickers anyway, so substituting a few more printed (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

A story how a collector became a consumer again. was:old trainsets

In lugnet.trains, Bryan Kinkel wrote: Dear Bryan, thanks for your nice feedback on my own creations. I think I told the story - about the end of me being a collector - a few times, but I am not sure if I did so here at Lugnet. So here it is in its (...)   Re: Large Buildings?

(...) It makes perfect sense, except my cat won't help hold the wall in place :-) I have started construction of the building. It has expanded in scope, just like it probably would in real life. My footprint is now 3 x 4 base plates (32 x 32 studs). (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  Best-Lock Castles Review

Well, I just got my first purchase of Best-Lock bricks in the mail yesterday-- I had been searching for their castles in stores (where I had seen other Best-Lock stock) to no avail, so I finally I just ordered them online.   Re: take a piece, leave a piece -- traveling box of LEGO

(...) Zoinks! I just dug the box out of the closet, and it's more than I'd remembered. There's 16 pounds of LEGO semi-sorted into about two or three dozen ZipLoc bags of varying sizes (from a pint up through two-gallon). At first blush, this (...)
