  Re: A Wishlist

Hi, Great idea, here are some of the things on my wish list. Some of these i am sure, are more feasible than others: Some new weapons; infantry pike, glaive (without an oversized blade), mace, morning star etc. It would also be cool to see a return (...)   RCX plus parts for sale

I've not been here on Lugnet for a long time, so please bear with me if I violate the Netiquette... The Mindstorms EV3 is hitting the shelves around these days, and I am thinking about getting the set. My son (now 10y) had a 'robots for kids' (...)   Re: Dead men tell no tales!

(...) In my blessed opinion, Harry Potter and Star Wars have been the best thing for LEGO Castle accessory set development since the invention of the mini figure. Why? I get lots of nice parts in new designs and colors that stimulate my creativity. (...) (22 years ago, 25-Aug-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: IR-based proximity measurement

(...) You're welcome - it's a fun problem. At least partially because it's one of the few times I've had to worry about the speed of bytecode execution under the standard firmware (see below). (...)   Re: IR-based proximity measurement

(...) Well, there were a couple of typos, but only one I found that was critical. If you are using a "max-picking LIDAR" method, you do *not* want to divide by the number of samples. The variable "eyeon" in your code should end up with the brightest (...) (18 years ago, 9-Jun-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: This is it: We're moving!

I'm researching this, and while it lasts, I have installed a workaround that should return an acceptable list of results (only a couple of extra "score" displays for articles that fail to (...) Both of you spent almost three hours filling your green tubs. Then, to be able to actually use the pieces you carefully packed, you had to disassemble them all once you got them home.
