| Warning: At a get together last weekend I again noticed something on one of my locomotives that first appeared in 1999: stress cracking of the lower clips on the 9v train motor ends. | Hello Robert, It's a nice model, with a good level of detail for the scale you've chosen. I would consider to make the bench besides the back door six studs long, and model its shape with brown grill tiles, in order to mimic the very narrow beams (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

Well, it'll be affected by the fact that the 2x2 version has considerably different internal geometry than the 2x4 version, but the 2x4 version has much more sturdy geometry than you'll find inside either a 2x4 brick or plate.
