  Re: general session starting.

(...) snipped I really hate to say this, but rather than feeling inspired about the great future to come, Jake's speech has instead left me completely disheartened. The bottom line is this: TLG has betrayed my trust. And unfortunately, the only way (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

Re: LEGOFan.net - central community run hub for all areas of the LEGO community.

Hello! (...) Well, most AFOLs already have been LEGO fans as kids and - after a periode of neglecting the brick, the so called 'dark ages' - found back to their old love. That means: For the purpose of growing hard core LEGO fans it's necassary to (...)   New Castle sets??? - Toy Fair photos

Simply my humble opinion, but it strikes me that the new castle sets are making something of a departure stylistically from previous sets. The figures, armor and weapons seem more like a cross between the MegaBloks line and the "classic" Lego (...) (20 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

(...) YES. Thank you, Jake. I have a problem with being too subtle, so I'll be more blunt: Lugnet is targeted to a particular audience, an adult audience. This is _not_ the ONLY audience interested in LEGO. For those whose online LEGO experience (...)
