I was just browsing LEGO.com, and they put up their new Holiday Catalogue. New items are the new World City "rescue" sets (which say should ship by mid- November), and the new UCS Snowspeeder (on the back cover, now available). Just thought I'd post (...) There are a few web pages around with pictures of disassembled motors. The consensus seems to be that once you take it apart, you can't put it back together. Lego is known to replace broken motors. If you care about that, call up the customer (...) (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Maybe someone else has noticed this-- I just thought it was funny (and potentially alarming, I guess) I ordered something through Lego.com on Thursday of last week. It showed up this Monday.
