  Peeron Memory Upgrade

Peeron has been growing by leaps and bounds since our last major upgrade two years ago - especially after the instruction scan library was moved from (URL) to (URL) PICSL>. While this is great news many of you will have noticed that recently we have (...) (18 years ago, 26-Jan-07, to lugnet.announce.peeron, lugnet.db.inv, FTX) !!

The concept of "thread" conventionally involves separate stacks for local variables (and a shared global state -- unlike separate (...) (18 years ago, 19-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  .NET Micro Framework released!

Microsoft released a micro version of the .NET Framework SDK today! Could we be writing C# code for the NXT, and unlike the Microsoft Robotics Studio, actually have that code run natively on the brick itself? Quick summary article: (URL) download (...) (...) From what I've seen the goal has been reached in less than 24 hours...and probably, that's my personal guess, in a very few hours. That's, IMO, not surprising, because the initial amount of 400$ is pretty low and because both Dan as a person & (...) (18 years ago, 29-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv, FTX)

  Clear spybot message block?

Hello, Is there any way to clear a spybot message from memory with one command? ClearMessage does not exist in the spybot API. For some weird reason if I use SetSerialData, it causes the brick to go a bit weird. I.E. Random movements etc. Chris (18 years ago, 6-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics)

HELP! NXT brick flash now read-only!!

All, Up until this point, I kept hearing that it was pretty much next to impossible to "brick" a brick. However, I think I've managed to be the first person to prove that it *can* be done (not that I'm proud of this fact :-( ). A few weeks back, I (...)
