(...) Jonathan, We bought the DSC-P5 (also 3.2 megapixel) after Christmas 2001 (Love it!) If you want additional memory keep an eye on Buy.com's "Today's Deals" They were selling the Lexar MS128 - Flash Memory Stick - 128MB for $29.99 with free (...) A few months ago my school was hit hard with something that shouldn't happen to anybody. A schoolmate of mine was struck down by Leukiemia. And since I can't do anything good except maybe build a good Lego model, I have spent the last few months (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.space)

Display lists are a feature in OpenGL (the graphics library used by LDView) for drawing static objects. They convert (compile) the data into (...)   Re: How much memory finally? ADDENDUM

I have seen some systems that have RAM set up this way: The first area is for the system, the second area is user programs and is allocated from the bottom up. The third area is user (and system) data, allocated from the top down. They "meet in the (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  data recording in BrickOS ?

I would suggest that the easiest way to understand how standard firmware handles arrays is to go to the NI web site and do a search on something like "efficient LabVIEW memory management" which will result in a nice description of how LabVIEW (...)   Mindstorms USB connection and memory

Mindstorms NXT experts, Okay, so I am working with my NXT and it occurs to me that the brick has a USB connection. USB connections are bidirectional meaning that information can go both ways.
