I'm running IC 3.2 and am curious why this fails :

  #define HOURS     10.0              /* hours of logging */
  #define INTERVAL  5.0               /* minutes between samples */
  #define SAMPLES   ( (60/INTERVAL)*HOURS + 1 )

  float battery_voltage[ SAMPLES ];

the message on download is :

  charge.c(6): parse error close to token "("

  (line 6 is the line with float array declaration)

Does IC not handle preprocessor directives?

Thanks
