Re: firmware & NQC - free?

This is my dilemma: I work for an organization that encourages schools to teach engineering through the RIS using NQC. I'm creating very detailed instructions on how to install NQC and using firmware, etc. Now since this is a package of information (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

(...) Thanks for everybody's help. It does appear that I was using an older version of RCXCC or NQC. Also, the firmware of the Vision Command was precisely what I needed. Now I only need to find a free Visual Basic compiler if such a thing exists. (...) (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  aggiornare firmware 1.5

salve! Ho trovato un RIS 1.5 a 475.000 e me lo sono comprato - come faccio ad aggiornare il firmware? C'è qualche "improvement", o bug che viene corretto? ciao :) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.it)

  RCX Firmware Speed

This is a follow up to many of the recent posts on the speed of Lego's RCX byte code interpreter. It's a long post but the salient items are in the first few paragraphs.   RE: Custom firmware crashing on boot

Here's two things to try since you've only swapped out the VM hich I assume is a replacement for the "c_cmd.c" file. 1. First there is a "#define" that specifies the start address of the file system. If you're 10K larger you're going to need to (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)
