| Is there a way to get the version # out of an RCX firmware file? Namely, the files firm0309.lgo or firm0328.lgo. I'd hate to rely only on the file's name. It'd be nice if one could reliably get the version, without having to download the file into (...) (24 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

| All, I've got an RCX 1.0, and my son has a 1.5. Is there anything that would cause problems if I loaded 1.5 firmware into a 1.0 RCX? While on the topic, what about 2.0 firmware in a 1.0 RCX? (20 years ago, 6-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics)

| Hi, I trying out the Swan firmware (Fast0103.lgo) with nqc 3.1 r4 but for some reason the motors won't turn on. Has anybody seen something like that? If I run the program, it does all the other things, even switch on the little motor triangles on (...) (18 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

| I'm using MacNQC and when I try to download a firmware file I can't see the file in the "choose file" dialog, although I can plainly see the firmware file in the Finder. Any help would be most appreciated! (24 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
