Re: Shutting off illumination LED on Light Sensor for LIDAR

(...) Actually you don't need LegOS, any input set to raw mode with the LEGO firmware will do fine. This is because even in passive mode there is a pull up of 10k to 5V, and in fact the LED is glowing dimly in this mode. Just tried it, I can get raw (...)   RE: Good news (Bad Rcx of ir transmitter)

One of my fellow researchers had trouble along this line. The RCX just refused to take the firmware. I did hear somewhere that florescent lights interfere with the IR.   Who can write a send_msg() and get_msg() in legOS for us?

Can you write a pair of function to support standard firmware IR communiation between RCX and RCX or Remote control? They are send_msg() and get_msg(), it is easy to communicate between NQC and legOS, so we can use NQC if the program is very simple (...)   Spybot Zones
