RE: Spybotics - A great disappointment

(...) As far as I can tell, there's no easy way to do replacement firmware for the Spybotics brick. Dave is adding NQC support, and LEGO has their own Mindscript language available for all of their bricks. Cheers, Ralph (22 years ago, 27-Jul-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Sensor Sampling

Can anyone tell me how often the sensors are sampled in BrickOS? In the standard firmware, they are sampled every 3ms with a .02 measurement time (so I'm told) and I need to know if BrickOS is the same. Thanks Steve (22 years ago, 30-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Better Color Balance with Lego Bricks

(...) It appears to be a software issue, either in the camera's firmware or in photoshop. Anytime I take a digital photo, I use 'Image / Adjust / Autolevels' to get the colors back to something approximating the natural color of the picture. The (...)   Alternate Energy Sources

I'm programming the RCX in the leJOS environment and don't like the prospect of downloading the firmware everytime I have to replace batteries. How good and reliable are the solar panels available for the RCX 2.0? Is anybody on the list using an (...) (21 years ago, 15-Dec-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Robolab/RCX program code size and limits.

Hi, I'm using Robolab 2.5.3 and RCS firmware revision 03.01 03.28. I have a couple of questions: - I want to demonstrate the difference in code size between a program written using subroutines versus a program written using subVi's. How do I (...)   RCX to RCX NQC

In a semi-followup to Steve's earlier "remote battery tester"... While the standard firmware provides almost no way to get bytes into the RCX (other than "Message()", one byte at a time), it can certainly export them ("SendSerial"). And it occured (...)   Re: bitwise operators
