I just converted my first engine to DCC yesterday and started playing with LDCC 1.01. LDCC is fantastic! Thank you, Mark! I installed an AD330 N-Scale decoder from Model Rectifier Corp according to the directions on Tom Cook's site. At 0.8 Amps this (...) What a terrific meeting we had yesterday! I was really blown away by all the walking robots people built. There were 7 fully working robots, and many other prototypes that people brought as well. I have to say that I don't recal if the original rcx mindstorms software uses this or not; so, if you need that functionality and the original software doesn't have it then a move to something else might be warranted. (...) Jindrich- SCLTC has lots of experience running 10 week shows that are frequently unattended by club members. For these shows, we run 4x5+2*5= 30 hours per week. Mindstorms NXT experts, Okay, so I am working with my NXT and it occurs to me that the brick has a USB connection. USB connections are bidirectional meaning that information can go both ways. I guess i never point out that upgrading firmware only ADD's functionality. the standard firmware wont let you play with the LCD display (i think) but as firmware gets upgraded, functionality expands.
