Re: Elements I'd like to see...

(...) James, we must be reading from the same wish list. I like your answers! I would add to the sloped bricks, inside (concave) corner bricks in extreme and low slope sizes (along with the needed peaks and peak connectors). I would also like to (...)   Re: Gary's One Shell Plaza

(...) Thanks Susan! What really surprised me was the first picture of the top of the real One Shell Plaza. It looks like the windows on each floor are made of those white LEGO 1x4x2 railing pieces that were in recent bucket sets. I have over 100 of (...) (25 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Sounds good Mark, but you missed 4 of the 8 largest population centers in the country, namely Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston and Washington/Baltimore (the other 4 are NewYork, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose).   Re: The Gary Louie Memorial Auction

OK, it's been a while since I sent one of these. We are making progress. But we're not done yet. Biggest thing missing is that I have a LOT of holes around who has shipped and who has received their goodies. Good news is: We have raised over 800 (...)   Re: take a piece, leave a piece -- traveling box of LEGO

(...) For the windows, you should just skip the general-circulation box, and send them directly to Gary Istok. For other bags, you might mix them by cutting (so to speak) the bags in half, and mixing the half-lots in with other half-lots. That would (...)   Re: Ebay Question

I had forgotten about that one. A German collector friend of mine bought that one (it was mostly empty), and proceded to try and fill it with old windows & doors. As Mike can attest to, you can still find old LEGO in Europe. In fact there are people (...) (25 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.auction)

Re: I have these sets but can't find them in the set listings. Help!

(...) OK, a couple of things..... 1) The 2x4 bricks were the mainstain of LEGO in the 50's and 60's. And the predominant colors were red and white. Back in those years buildings were mostly 2 studs thick. No "1x" buildings back then. The 1x1, 1x2, (...) (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Yes LEGO did make drafting paper!

TLC actually did make a drafting type paper back in the 1960's. The Architectural Sets (#750, #751, #752) each came with several sheets of this paper, which looks more like graph paper. Each box within the grid was the size of a 1x1 brick. The (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.edu)
