| | Re: LEGO article in Delta magazine

| | 1960's LEGO Parts Packs
|
| There is a wonderful assortment of 24 Samsonite LEGO Parts Packs on EBAY, whose auction ended today. It went for a whopping $810 (rather pricey, I would say). I bring it to everyones attention to show you all what they look like. The pictures on the (...) (25 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

| | Re: Do you know what this is?
|
| (...) Alan is correct. This piece came out in 1962 with LEGO Wheels. I have a European Wheel set #314 (from 1962) that has two of these. They are a unique piece in LEGO, in that they are not actually white or clear, but a sort of a milky (...) (25 years ago, 15-Oct-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

| Yes and no. I was interested in the classic doors (but I already have 250 of them, so how many do I need?), the macaroni bricks (I already have 7 European packs - in black, red, yellow and white, so how many do I need?), the flag set and the street (...) | Lego Garage set was sort of a parts pack. Back in the 50's and early 60's many of those early sets/parts packs did not come with instructions. Sometimes, however, they were on the box itself. Gary Istok (...) (25 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

| I am seeing a lot of angry folks in LUGNET this week. Rather than "lighting the torches" just yet, let's let the group letter to KKK (and Peter Eio) take their course.
