I brought up the pulsing in connection with a de-multiplexer, not to avoid the resistor. If you just want to hook up a pair of LEDs to the RCX motor output, by all means, use a proper resistor, and use forward/stop/reverse settings only. Not using (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Well yes, a true minifig-scale train would be a nice size, but could it still be compatible with other Lego trains? Which existing Model Team sets do you feel are compatible with minifig scale? I just got Mindstorm set, and since I do not have a PC, NQC seemed like a great place to start. I tried Mac NQC and did not get very far downloading the RCX firmware. Cutting out carefully is a drag! And in our case an oval is a hard shape to cut nicely. I thought about a die-cut cutter. My wife has a ton of them for her "creative memories" stuff. I thought that the 1x1 w/side stud was a recessed side stud. Wouldn't that leave a gap? I believe that we are going to be having these windows only get one stud on each side connecting this way. Even still, as long as they are staggered (one side on (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)
