Couldn't you run some wires into the battery pack and have them connect to the leads on a charger mounted on a wall somewhere? Or would you still have to worry about frying your RCX? Cutting up electric plates is my favorite as well - you get a pretty robust "lego" connection for very litle cost. You just have to be careful while soldering not to deform the plastic. Dave Baum (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)
