Re: I have a solution for freeing motor ports

I'm assuming that the R/C transmitter is modulating two channels on either 27Mhz or 49Mhz...it is probably a non-digital-proportional servo system, so it is forward or reverse on channel A and left or right on channel B to the servo units. I don't (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Scans of my Minifigs

(...) #5824 (Millimy's Bedroom) does indeed come with a peasant's bag, but it's in blue, not pink. This is actually one of the main reasons to get this set, if you ask me.   Re: I have a solution for freeing motor ports

(...) Now, what would be interesting is if you could sacrifice 1 motor output to power a mini radio-transmitter. Am I right in thinking that this could be quite small - ie a 2x2 brick encasing the crystal? How does the radio control car work anyway (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: LEGO grandfather clock

Eric, I can only echo the sentiments of the masses and say..."WOW!" Well, OK...maybe I can add a pointer too. You said that you wished to use lego chains for the weights but had to use monofilament because the chains weren't up to the job. Why not (...)   Re: I have a solution for freeing motor ports

I can only speak for myself, but I want my robots to be fully autonomic (turn it on and it fulfills it's purpose without any other interaction) I want more motors available as well, but some functions are only when the robot is not in transit, so I (...)   I have a solution for freeing motor ports

You need at least 2 motors to drive your robot and sucessfuly control it. and you realy need 2 motors (at least) to make your robot pre form a multi task function. So this is my solution to this problem. Get the lego RC racer to drive your robot (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I am probably interested in some of your parts, I'll have to look at the set to see what all is in it. If I remember the set correctly you can take the following parts and make a "poor-man's" hopper car (or at least the top half of it). You would (...)
