Destroyer Droid - Help w/ unrolling

I just found a Destroyer Droid at Target (Lynnwood, WA, USA) for anyone interested. They had a few Slave I's and Pit Droids too. It's strange, I'd think Boba Fett would sell the fastest, but the ones I haven't found are the A & B Wing and Desert (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I was looking through the catalogs at Brickshelf and found a 1986 catalouge with Model Team sets in it (5510, 5540, and 5580). I though MT came out in '89. What's the deal? Was it a limited realese? (25 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.modelteam)
