(...) I wrote such a script. However, it is really ugly: it's mostly Tcl but it calls perl to do the DB query. It should be all perl (it would be much easier/shorter/quicker) but it grew out of something else I was playing with in Tcl. Yes, sets 8865 Test Car and 8448 Super Street Sensation feature independent rear suspension (with rear wheel drive). Set 8860 Auto chassis also has an indpendent rear suspension, but it's design is somewhat basic an unrealistic. You can check out (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

I'm not sure I understand the question exactly, but they all have the same motor. It's just incorporated differently into the engine model. The 4559 does not have the motor connected by a bogey plate, like the 4565, if that's what you're asking. It (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

I have had a couple of other thoughts on this. Say TLC does decide to try this. And to start off they try a skyscraper. It would have to be say the size of one of the regular square bases. (...) Do you perhaps mean a different set? 4559 (ref: (URL) ) has a little tiny engine built on top of the motor unit. It's difficult to see how to give it two motors. Even the alternate steamer has only one. (oh how I long for the days when Lego (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)
