  Re: Part functionality questions

(...) If it's a service pack for the cyber challenge sets, then the rubber bands would be to replace all the rubber bands in the sets themselves. LEGO sure has gotten generous with those recently. Why, when *I* was a boy you were lucky to get one (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Ebay auction advice

(...) Others will probably disagree, but I have the best luck with 10day. But if you want to get rid of them fast, do a 3day, but MAKE SURE to note in the title that it is 3day. (...) Don't end it on a weekend - lots of people bid from work or (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

(25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Re: 4x2ReVu: 6094 Guarded Treasury

(...) Sad, but true. The 'figs have gotten better, but the buildings have gotten worse. Not only are they more poorly designed (IMHO) but they've got fewer pieces to boot... and the pieces they DO have are pathetically juniorized. (...) Also, the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: 4556 Train Station - Something to buy?

(...) Looks like it's made out of bricks, not wall pieces. It does have a lot of large windows. I'd buy one for 30% off, just becuase I like my 4554 so much. Actually, if it came in yellow I'd buy it for retail price! BTW, the 4554 is one of the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 5206 == ?

(...) Probably. I wonder how it's calibrated? I assume it's basically a rotation sensor. (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Turning with one motor

(...) If you can't get that version working, try making a bot that drives forward with a plain differential (or even a solid axle, for simplicity) and uses a steering wheel (or wheels) which point forward when moving forward but twist sideways when (...)   GMLTC at GATS?

Is GMLTC going to be at a GATS event in the near future? I looked and could not find info on it at Lugnet, only on the Florida GATS. If someone could reply (or email me, preferrably) with info on a possible event, I'd appreciate it. I'd like to make (...)   Re: Who here is from Michigan?

I just recently came out of my Dark Ages, but my childhood in Caledonia (Southeastern Rural Suburb of Grand Rapids) has left me with a good sized collection to build from. Unfortunately, and I do mean UNFORTUNATELY, I now reside in South Bend, (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
