  Re: CLSOTW - Thanks

(...) Well deserved and long overdue. SteveC LEGO Perilous Pirate Page (URL) moved the Lighthouse! To find out how: (URL) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: John E. Doolittle

(...) Don't forget, Doolittle is also pursued by the nefarious Capt. Malcolm Brickering(1) from whom he won the Aurora (formerly the Queen Anne Revamped, re-named, of course, for his Lady Fair, Ms. Waite) in a personal injury litigation on behalf of (...)   Re: Is the tower piece new?

(...) Personally, I think it's intended to be used in schools-- and probably for younger grades (K-4, roughly...) And so Dacta wanted to use large pieces that are tougher to break and harder to loose. And I'd note that this set is comprised of (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Babelfish question (was Re: Cross posting in eu (was: Aaargh!)

(...) Indeed. Now if everyone would just watch all the adverts offered to them while they're watching a program/movie, there wouldn't be so darn-tootin' many of them in the first place! (and _I_'ll take that remote, thank you) (...) Indeed. Jasper (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) To tell you the truth, I don't see the value added. Whenever you view a review, the top frame changes to reflect the set. This means there are no problems with URLs pointing to the main page, but it also means that for every review you read, (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.publish)

Which are teh LICs and do they ship (was Re: Nortel LEGO phone? (was: Re: What I did for the Y2K weekend...)

(...) I believe it does count and does ship. Ask any of the GMLTCers, 3/4 of them worked there at one point or another. (...) When I was there (at Disney Village) last month, I was told that they would ship. I have some cards they gave me with their (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Princess Storm, aka warrior woman---Any Pictures?

(...) I'd agree on the strong points idea... I kind of picture them as being raised up several levels, and sticking out of the walls slightly, in the middle of a solid wall... I'm not so sure I want to use them for towers though... They're a bit too (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: A few questions...

(...) I have a picture I shot with one of these when they first came out. Since then a friend has done a small module on the same rocket, using a PIC, and a barometric sensor, and 'logged' the pressure readings over a flight. However the weight of (...)   Parts Sale: 5986 Parts Added

I decided to add many parts from a 5986 Amazon Ancient Ruins to my (smallish) parts sale, mostly architectural-type element (arches, baseplate, etc.) and minifigs and accessories.   Re: Futbol or Football?

(...) Nope. Just not looking carefully enough. ;) The hyperlinks on the System page of the catalogue all have an alt-text which appears if you don't load images or - if your browser supports it - when you move your mouse over the icon. The icon in (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Imperial Soldiers Rank?

(...) The shako-topped and backpacked soldiers are obvious as you say. The tricorn seems to represent officers, but doesn't have to (the Caribbean Clipper crew for example), and the bicorn hat and foldback uniform coat represent "admirals". You end (...)   My parts want list

Periodic repost of this: I am, as always, soliciting offers on items on this list.   Re: Futbol or Football?
