10Hz is nowhere near fast enough to control a train motor using PWM (pulse width modulation). You need at least 100Hz, and higher would be better. Hi all, Electronics Goldmine has some notebook pc IRDA ports for $2! (URL) I think it would be Great to use a couple of these to get 2 Handyboards to talk with eachother. When I download the pcode file using either HBDL or DL the pcode itself is loaded successfully but I then get an error from both programs saying the config register is set to 0xFF. Seedling starter trays work great for sorting and they are cheap too. I picked some up at a garage sale that are 4 compartments long x 7 compartments wide that are almost sturdy enough for a permanent storage solution except they are too wobbly to (...) Hi Everyone: I am trying out the infra red emission and detection with the Handy Board. I have succeeded in the emission part but the detection circuit is not working.
