I got 5563 - the MT Octan Truck only available on the continent, and an X-Wing Fighter. Also picked up second-hand 182 train set and all 3 weetabix promo sets from the 1970's just before Christmas! Ian Bishop, Ayrshire, UK (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Leo's Castle... flags?

(...) I believe it came from the 2000 catalog. As far as I can tell, there are only two pictures of this set by itself. The one in the 2000 catalog and the Lego website, and the box cover and S@H. The former shows 5 flags, the latter shows 4. (...) (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Are they blind???

(...) I learned this as well, from both my stepdad's nephews and from my roommates nephews as well. They have a tendency to destroy sets, and somehow manage to hide it until they leave. I don't mind a few things, but it looks like Godzilla came (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Do you like monorails?

(...) Hmm... I think is just improper anyway. It is common courtesy not to say things like that. But I guess that's what you get when you have to buy LEGO. I for one like online shopping (I don't buy them without free shipping most of the time), and (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

how does a bar code reader work?

Hi, Can someone explain me how the bar code reader of the codepilot works. I figured out the basics, but I can not get to the clocking stuff.
