Re: Searching for Set number of certain Tires....

The tires you are describing appear to be very simular to the tires on the 5533 Red Fury. These are the same tires just w/different hubs that came w/the 8880. The hubs for the 8880 have the inside rim for the special collar for the all wheel drive. (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) ~eww!!~ that looks like "baby puked pea-green" to me! (it's probably called "alvocado" in sherwin williams.) i've only seen pics of that color in scala sets. the tyco olive green that i refered to in my other post is much darker. later ~ (...) (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  No Y2K Lego in PNW..... ; (

I have searched high and low in the Tacoma/Seattle/Olympia area and have found NONE of the 2000 sets. Any PNW Maniacs out here that can keep an eye open north of Olympia for me I'd appreciate the help, the wife draws the line at more than 2 runs a (...) (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Olive Lego?

I was just watching the local news when they did a story about a Lego float in a parade. In the float was various Freestyle elements, and Legoland looking stuff...but then I saw some kind of model on the float that was done in Olive Green?! Is this (...)   Re: CLSOTW voting

(...) I think people should be able to give fractional votes: You get 1.0 "voting points" to spread out however you want among the sites. You might give 30% to one and 70% to another, for example. --Todd (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

linux-lnp: select() vs. SIGIO ( was Re: Call for debugging support )

(...) Uuh, there was a little bug in my test program. Once again, i learned i have to read gcc´s warnings carefully. On linux, select() suffers exactly the same thing as SIGIO.   Re: CLSOTW voting

(...) The queue is pretty long. There are actually so many totally outstanding sites that the non-totally-outstanding sites don't stand a chance. But that's kind of the whole point -- the showcase the most outstanding stuff. --Todd (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: CLSOTW voting

(...) This defeats the whole purpose of voting then. I wonder how much worth a vote has if Todd is ultimately going to select the site he wants. (...) Yes of course! I think about this every time I post in here. (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  7124 Flash Speeder price?

I keep seeing people quoting the Flash Speeder price as being $7.99, but every store I've been at says $9.99, and S@H price is $11. Are these things just more expensive in New England, or has everyone been getting them on sale? J (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: CLSOTW voting

(...) I think what Todd is trying to say is that if a site is especially noteworthy, he'll pick it over the other sites in the list. For the Halloween and Star Wars contests, it made sense to pick those sites for the respective weeks because the (...) (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
