  Re: price gouging on RIS

It must be because he told me he had 4 of them. He should have surfed Ebay before making his purchase. : ) Todd (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) Under the the revised comments, doing so would probably be fine -- it doesn't violate the intended spirit of the site, of course. But, the first resort should be to politely contact the lego web designers, of course. (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

There's three black heads in the Sith Infiltrator set. They're one piece of the two-piece probe droids. So buy a Sith Infiltrator and you get THREE Boba Fett heads!! -Zak (...) hallucinating (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) It's not. APPLET is depreciated, but IMG is still around. (...) I'll have to look at mozilla and see if it lets me include HTML. That'd make me happy. (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.publish)

  Re: good steam engine

You can do better than expanding on a LEGO model. I have an OK one on my site (URL) follow the links to trains and engines. check Eric Brok's site (URL) PNLTC site has some really nice stuff too (URL) Mathis is a wizzard; he has some great stuff to (...)   Re: Lego 4559 at Potomac Mills - $107.99

(...) There's a couple of these in the TRU on Route 18 in East Brunswick, NJ. I think they're $129, though. best, Lindsay (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) Actually, I believe the IMG tag is obsolescent. IIRC, you are now supposed to use OBJECT for everything. I don't know that it'll let you embed another HTML document, though. You can use inline frames to embed HTML documents, but AFAIK, they're (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.publish)

D'oh! Forgot the disclaimers. (see below) (...) Of course, I mean *US* $70, although I'm willing to ship overseas at buyer's expense. best, LFB (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) There is a supercar web page at (URL) with a password box. By typing in either "LT8448" or "lt8448", it should take you to the following pages.   FS: 4565 Freight and Crane Railway, 97% Complete

Hi everyone, Since I've had little success in getting my cranes and tall struts, I've decided to go the other route, and buy a 4565 Freight and Crane Railway for the two cranes and two struts. In effect, I've bought this set for 28 pieces: -two (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) They seem feasible now from a technical standpoint. (Overlooking the bandwidth issue for the moment.) The problem is the banner-ad revenue model of the current commercial web -- if you can look at PS: why does HTML just have the IMG tag? Why (...)   Re: price gouging on RIS

I wonder if this is the same guy who is trying to sell 4 RIS on ebay for $350.00? The auction listed Lehi, UT as the location. I don't know where 376 prefixes are but it does seem like an unlikely coincidence. I've always heard "buyer beware". (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut)

  New Sets in Memphis, TN

I found all of the new Star Wars sets (except the droideka(?)) in the Target on Colonial in Memphis, TN. The Star Wars sets were in the Star Wars isle, not the Lego isle. The Lego Isle also had most of the new 2000 sets too... I left a few there, (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

If Lego made new Town sets... what should they be?

If Lego were to make new, non-juniorised Town sets, what would you like them to be? My top ten would be: Historic houses (ones that are likely to still exist in a modern town) Town Hall Neighbourhood park (with kids play equipment, trees, flowers, (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)
