You can do better than expanding on a LEGO model. I have an OK one on my site
http://cmasi.chem.tulane.edu/~lego
and follow the links to trains and engines.
check Eric Brok's site
http://homepages.svc.fcj.hvu.nl/brok//legomind/index.htm
the PNLTC site has some really nice stuff too
http://www.pnltc.org/
James Mathis is a wizzard; he has some great stuff to and a nice little steamer
http://www.ee.nmt.edu/~jmathis/legopage.html
Ben Fleskes has two very nice steamers

http://members.xoom.com/jrickclark/a-images.html
http://www.halcyon.com/willc/lego/trains/stem_ind.htm
and someone just made a massive 4-8-8-4, but I do not have a link for that
one...sorry (to you and the creator).
Good luck,
Chris

| Also try looking at the alternate model on the 4565 (Matt Bates has instructions up on his site). It doesn't use that many rare parts, I believe. Since they seem to be on sale at Zany Brainy this week, you may be able to pick up the 4565 cheap if (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
