Re: Cross posting in eu (was: Aaargh!)

(...) I apologize for all the time I made you waste opening my message written in Italian. I can insure you such a big tragedy will never happen in future and I thank you a lot for having spent much more of your time to write your reply to me Marco (...)   Tall Yellow Windows?

I'm looking for tall 1x4x5 windows in yellow. Have yellow windows in this size ever been made? If you can part with a pair of these, please let me know. I'm trying to model my own house... Bryan Kinkel (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Technic Shuttle

I've finally got my hands on this marvellous set (£49.99 from Toy Stack in Ealing, plus they gave me a £5 gift voucher -- I might buy another). Now, I wonder: is there a trouble-shooting guide out there for if I run into problems? And does anyone (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.technic)

Re: legality of entering LDraw files into POVray contest

(...) I don't believe there are (or could be any) legal ramifications from you entering a Lego model in a POV contest. Just don't render 'Lego' on the studs is what I'd say, or make it too small so its unreadable. But TLG doesn't get upset at us for (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: More studs in holes...

(...) The errors I see are definitely impossible with a 3D CAD system. Except an _extremely_ buggy one. On the other hand, such errors are also highly unlikely to appear in hand-drawn graphics. Glaring perspective errors would have been noticed by (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad)

Re: Pit Droid comments - was Re: Star Wars 2000 sets spotted in UK

(...) By looking at the pictures, I would say that it's fairly clear that this is the same part which is being used as wheels in the "Robo Riders" sets in the 8509-8514 range. (...) Larry Pieniazek has been so kind as to help me out with some payments once (which I am very grateful for), but other than that, we don't do too many deals. It's not because I don't like Larry Pieniazek's way of doing business (I do!), but (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.eu)

(...) Yep, a few dozen yards from Tottenham Court Road tube station. After seeing the sets in FP, I considered wandering over to Holborn Beatties to see if they had anything new in, but decided against it, as I was already running fairly late. I (...)   Re: 2000 sets at Bluewater

(...) Will you be posting scans, or will I have to wait until 2000? The nature of the shops in my area means that I have no chance of seeing these sets until probably after the January sales.
