Re: **** MLCAD V1.6 IS AVAILABLE NOW ****

  Re: More studs in holes...

(...) I don't think it's correct that such a configuration was unintended. In fact, I think it most definitely *was* intended. All the classic LEGO measurements are magic multiples of 1/5 the standard interstud spacing, which also equals 1/6 the (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)

  Re: Line in the Sand

(...) I like your explanation better, but I think we're both missing the point: this paragraph is supposed to be about INVERTNEXT, not inversion. Fewer details are appropriate at this point. More details should go in (1) the explanation of inversion (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  New castle! Huge pieces abound!

Well, last night I managed to pick up 6091 (the castle), 6096 (bull's attack), 6094 (Guarded Treasury), 4086 (axe cart), and 6026 (King Leo). Actually, that was every 2000 set that the TRU in Framingham, MA had (they had only 1 more 6091 after I was (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  RCX Output

(...) Can anyone confirm the output characteristics of the RCX? It is my understanding that PWM is used to control RC servos and not to power them. Has anyone put a scope on the RCX's outputs to see what they look like? If the info is available, I'd (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Beds

  advice: which Mindstorms system?

Could someone advise me how to spend $400 on Mindstorms related products?   RE: Whitespace and comment remover in perl

(...) OOPS! I guess that those pesky regexps are not for the faint of heart. The new Tcl standard also allows you to specify less greedy regexps.   Re: States Go After Online Auctions; $1000 fines

(...) Actually, no. Ebay is "only a venue" - which is the electronic equivalent of an auction house. They provide a "place" and advertising, whereas any actual auctioning that's done is by the people who buy time. James (URL) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.auction)
