  Re: New bits of Info

(...) I scanned that one already. I'm talking about the inset in the mini-catalog, found in such sets as 7104 or 6471. :) Jeff (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) a (...) In terms of "fair use," though, I don't know if it's entirely fair of them to flaunt that Morion right on the page, when it's not available in any current sets! Dave! (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  2266 Duplo bucket

I have the opportunity to obtain a fairly significant quantity of these buckets at a pretty good discount. Are these popular or useful for anyone? If they were regular brick buckets, I'd be all over them, but I don't have as much use for Duplo. (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

help! trying to pose mini-fig arms

I'm trying to accomplish two separate effects: #1) I'm trying to pose the arms of a mini-fig "DAT" file so that its arms are "straight out (forward)" instead of "hanging normally", such that a rod/antenna being held in either of its hands would be (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: New bits of Info

(...) Well, Try your nearest Target. If they aren't there, you can make a pilgramage to the one off US 29, on Cherry Hill Road. Jeff (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

It looks a lot like Obi Ones head, but it doesn't have the beard and the mouth looks either straight or a small smirk, Obi's was definatrely a frown (I have Obi here at work, and have the instructions for the Desert Skiff in front of me) The (...)   Re: Rock Raiders figure set @ Salem, NH TRU

(...) Yes! This is perhaps the single 'fig set I want the most (aside from 5 Stormtroopers). The bodies are all cool for high-tech commandoes, dock workers, etc, and the heads are all pretty cool... and the little Confederacy cap! I was so happy (...)   Re: Supply and demand

(...) <snip> How do you REALLY know that you have an old brick versus a new brick. I think Lego is not quite the same thing as old vinyl -- whose disk and cover can be verified often by dates right on the labels and so forth. (...) My point exactly, (...)   Re: Is It True?

(...) Let me check. [Runs out to car, looks in bags cleverly hidden in the back, waiting to be wrapped and stuffed under the Christmas tree. Rustle, rustle, shake, rattle, rattle, rattle.] Yup.   using "lego" in domain names

I assume that TLC frowns greatly upon people using "lego" in domain names, don't they? Like ilovelego.com or everybodywantslego.com, etc. I just need a little clarification, since I don't think I've ever seen a fan page with lego in the domain. (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Massive 4-8-8-4 Steam locomotive pics posted

(...) Hey cool! That's the one I saw 5 years ago! It's great to hear that there is a restoration effort going on for it. When I saw it 5 years ago, the drive rods were cut and it looked rather sad. An interesting thing is that the number somehow (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

Rock Raiders figure set @ Salem, NH TRU

Just thought I'd mention that I popped into the Salem, NH TRU over lunch, and happened to see the Rock Raiders minifig set on the shelves. Price is (IIRC) $6.99. I imagine I'll pick up one or two of these - the heads look like they'd be useful in (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.underground)

Re: 2000 Star Wars sets are out in US

(...) It was in this week's sale flier (which I got in my Sunday newspaper). Right below the big blurb about Star Wars being on clearance, it plainly states "Star Wars LEGO 25% off" (I'm paraphrasing from memory). I stopped at the greeter desk in (...)   znap on sale...

I have seen most znap sets on sale in germany this week. TRU has them for 50%-75% off. For example the large set 3591 which is usually around US$75 is now available for only US$25, what a low price. Nearly the same thing for all other Znap sets. (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.znap)
