Re: 2000 Star Wars sets are out in US

Tom Boucher wrote in message ... (...) I believe what he is referring to is that the ship is flying with its main wing horizontally instead of how it is seen in jedi in a couple of shots at the vertical position.   Re: New Gears

Mike, These gears can also be found in set 8448, the red supercar. There's even two sizes of the 'tire' gears. I think they mesh a lot better than the ordinary technic gears. Have fun, Arjen "Mike Kory" <kory@advancenet.net> wrote in message (...) (26 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

Hi Brad, Welcome, this is indeed a big moment for us, so lets hope that something will come out of this proposal. First some good news : A local newspaper wrote that Lego was the most sold toy in the last century !! Now the question : Will those (...)   New Gears

My kids and I are putting together the new Battle Droid (#8001) and we seem to have two new gears. At least, new to me. One is marked Z20, 32198. It's a 20 tooth bevel crown gear and is used to mesh with a normal sized 12 tooth crown. The other is a (...) (26 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

In the best case, it's so far away from selling clones that (...) (26 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: [FA] - eBay - Lego CUSTOM: - Unique 4 axle custom Hopper

(...) I see it as light-years away from selling clones. I get what you're saying, but, clone manufacturers have to take care not to violate any of LEGO's patents. Since we're not manufacturering bricks, that's not a problem in the least. There is (...) (26 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Horrible quote from the Scala web catalog

I agree, Tamy. I've discussed this general topic with a few Danish women and they hardly saw anything wrong with such statements as the one quoted.   Super Car on sale

Uh oh...more bad news for those of us on a budget: The Sunday Los Angeles Times has an ad from Toys 'R' Us listing the 8448 Super Car for $99.99 (regular $129.99).
