  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) They weren't all that cheap then, either. I liked the theme as well, but I think overall it was a flop ie no one bought it. (...) You have a point. I'm thinking of Polly Pockets. Now they were downright tiny, and my daughter loved them. We (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: PNLTC layout

(...) Looks great! I especially like the showcase idea! Explain now, do these trains come out and run on the layout, or are they show pieces? Also, is that a new logo? You guys need shirts, we need to talk;-) -John GMLTC (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: AAT and MMT ultimate collector sets? was: New 2000 sets in Lego.com European catalog!

Oops. I'm wrong. Lego's official Europe catalog now sports the new 2000 sets. Go to the Lego web site. Select 'Catalog' from the quick find. Click on Europe (yellow area). Browse away! I guess the 2000 chat is ok now, eh? Rob ---...--- (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Paging Mathew Miller

  Re: silly question or not??

No, its not a stupid question. Just impossible. At least kind of impossible. If you want 32 more outputs using the board as-configured, forget it. With what is available for chip selects minus what you have used already, you can get 16 more. All (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  RE: Two or more RCX:s?

Just make sure you turn off all but one RCX when downloading programs or firmware. RCXs tend to pick up the IR signal when you least expect it. I once tried to download firmware into a new RCX, and forgot that there was another RCX in the room, (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  firmdl3 doesn't work

firmdl3 doesn't work for me. Normally the rcx shows numbers up to 24 or 48, then counts back up very quickly, then after a while the program quits. There was only once where it might've worked. I also tried slow, but that stops right after mode=slow. (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Implementing Finite State Machines

Vlad, The Finite State Machine is a good subject for people to consider in robotics, especially in coding the typical 'looping forever' Rcx applications.
