Well, I do do that, but it doesn't help when I place bids from home, and
the e-mail is removed from the server. This is also easier than trying
to find the bid e-mail among the forest of bids...

Hrmmm, you pop at home?  Why not just have it leave it on the server
in both places?  You have to manually delete from time to time, but
I don't know what I'd do without having access to mail at work and
at home...

what i do is this.. pop at home (onyx@flash.net), removing msgs from the server
when they are retrieved... then i use the inet link at work to access a 2nd
inet mail account (jboen@excite.com)... the web-based mail allows you to set up
checking of other POP3 accounts... so i set up my excite web account to check
my home account when i hit excite.com, but have it config'd to leave the msgs
on the server... so the only time the msgs get removed from the server is when
the mail is read at home... even if i already read it earlier in the day while
at work...
