  Re: Burp 2000

(...) Yes. ;) There are people on both sides of the fence. On the one hand, people don't like BURPs because they're big and ugly and take the place of several more useful pieces in a set. On the other hand, they're useful in building big things of (...) (25 years ago, 7-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

2000 Dealer catalogue Removal Request Backfire?

  Re: GMLTC shirt sighting...

(...) These are not the usual cheezy shirts either. Very solid shirt with thickweight cotton. If it was a name brand you'd be paying 40-50 for the shirt, unembroidered. I have two. Recommended. (25 years ago, 7-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Hi, I'm in need of two 6x3 1-high transparent yellow windows, like those found in early space sets (Galaxy Explorer, etc.) I thought I might have seen some in the recent rummage pile. Anyone have some to trade? (Roger?) -gyug (25 years ago, 7-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Duplo Trains the start of something

I was looking at the new 2000 catalog scans and noticing how much DUPLO train stuff there was (ie station, tunnel, extra cars). I don't remember there being that much stuff for DUPLO before. I wonder if this is TLC priming kids for a bigger push in (...) (25 years ago, 7-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
