  Re: New Castle? Huzzah!

(...) Yup. I first noticed it on page 16; you can see it through the main gate. Then, looking at the set image on the next page, the stripes can be seen through the main gate, while part of the lion's head can be seen through the little window above (...)   Re: Legoville...nearly complete.

(...) Hospitals tend to be rather boring looking from the outside (modern ones, anyway). The fun part is the interiors. My recent town had a hospital with emergency dept, operating rooms, admissions office & waiting room, 4 wards (with bathrooms) (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  I'm hoping for THIS!

Ultimate Collector's Editon Millenium Falcon! Since the TIE Interceptor and X-wing are both being targeted at much higher age groups (16 and up), it's reasonable to assume that TLG is trying to capture a little of the adult SW collector market. Many (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

This is what went wrong at www.thetoyshop.com

1. What went wrong? Non-Technical explanation: We messed up. UNIX systems (our stock control) use 1 decimal place, the rest of the known world use two! This problem was originally dealt with when the site was designed, but somebody forgot to tell (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: TRU stuff shipped yet? Any problems?

(...) Yeah, I wished I could see the amount charged to my card on the invoice. I would think it to be in TRU's best interest to do this. As it is, I can walk into my local TRU, sets and slips in hand, and return the sets. Because there is no prices (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: LEGOZ 2000

(...) I don't live in Australia, so my opinion obviously doesn't count, but one I might suggest thinking about is how "LegOz" would be pronounced. If it comes out sounding like "legos," then it's being (IMHO) disrespectful to LEGO, since they (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

Re: Where is dl for unix?

(...) Another note regarding this: The dl that I'm using is an a.out version rather than an elf executable, and I quite often need to use it on a Red Hat 6.x version of Linux. Red Hat 6.0 and later doesn't have a.out support running automatically, (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
