(...) Hey, I have not figured out how to update my email yet, does that make me slothful? New email (I'm trying!?!) is maniac@vol.com. I had to change, long story.   Re: Fantastic site

(...) Sounds like a great idea to me! I like this idea better than Cool LEGO Site of the Year because more is better[1] :) To make the judging fairer, you could have different categories (with a similar number of sites in each category, of course) (...)   Re: Timmy?

(...) I was afraid of this; I've made myself seem like a troll! Actually, I thought it would be fun to generate a Timmy fig, if only to pose it in a bunch of harrowing situations... Dave! (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad)

WTT: Gray #6386 driveway baseplate for green #6380/6598 driveway baseplate (or best offer)

Okay, since LEGO Customer Service stymied me on my request to even buy this baseplate (they call it "obsolete", I call it "a darn good baseplate"), I'm offering up a trade. I have a gray baseplate in good condition from set #6386 that I'm looking to (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Technic Shuttle for £4!!

Gosh! Am I the only one with a conscience in this NG? :) They are a decent company who have given us good deals in the past - we shouldn't screw them over too much for making a simple mistake. On the other hand, it does seem unlikely that so many (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) Just placed an order for 1 shuttle, 1 Sea Wolf and 1 Millenium Slizer. If they charge me even 1 pound more than the stated amount, I want to know immediately. Also, damn, I just won an ebay auction for the 6190 and I paid out the nose ($75) (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Color Line Promotional sets 1955 and 2149

I want these trucks but 55 is a bit more than I'd pay, when one factors in shipping. But then, I have some already. Newbies: Hugo has been around a while and has a good rep. Buy with confidence. You'll be hard pressed to do a LOT better and there (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: 600 dpi scans of 2000 Catalog Insets

Thanks, Jeff! You've managed to lower my opinion of the MF even further! Notice that the bottom hull appears to use the smaller inverse hull pieces. So the upper hull won't even match the shape of the lower. Blech! And it looks like the back is just (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Dennis Bosman's LEGO Trucks and Construction Machinery

Seconded. This site is awesome. I have one minor beef, which could be a Netscape problem... Dennis uses floating or "wrapped" pictures in which the text is supposed to flow around the pictures, but in some cases, at least on my NS 4.0x browser, the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego In Chu?

(...) Yes, I got one in a trade. Worth having for the novelty value but boy are they bad. I suspect that TLG won't take action without some sort of assistance, if we could trace these a few steps back in the direction of the source, it might help. (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
