  Re: Lid worden van LUGNET

Hallo.. Even een update... (25 years ago, 28-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.nl)

Re: Unified UK Lego Web Page/Community?

Goodness! I was only thinking a similar sort of thing the other day! I haven't done any research, or anything, but this all seems like a jolly good idea to me. I was also wondering about starting to use the more local groups as well, now that there (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Reminder

(...) Hi Ryan, I didn't notice this message, but I was in the Construction Site too at the same day. I talked to Eric K. and Dave E. after you left. I assume you saw me, or maybe it was Shuan S., because one of you were there, and left. -Shiri (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

Re: Lets pick a date for our next NELUG meeting.

(...) Well, I'm not a NELUG member but I would like to be (reminder, I'm 15 and a half). I think that if there aren't too many people objecting, you could have a trail "with <18 members" meeting. I think that's not too much to ask. If you meet me (...)   Could someone give me some pointers?

Hi everybody, I noticed this Jambalaya group lately. It seems like a great idea, and I'd like to join up, but before I do, I'd like to make sure I've got this right: The person who receives the box can take whatever he wants. (...) You just now (about 90 minutes ago) filled out the enrollment form, right? Check your e-mail -- the info you need should be there in your inbox now. Best, --Todd (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.people)

  Re: LEGO books for "FREE"

(...) Heh, I noticed the same thing after filling out the form and having it slowly dawn upon me that I couldn't get them to mail to Canada. My fault for living in the UK I suppose, which has *nothing* like these offers. Still, with $15 Cdn, you can (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Sharpened Images

Hey has anyone out there sharpened and blown up images of the new pilots (a- wing, b-wing)? It would really handy if someone would email them to me. Thanks ~ K@rl (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: LEGO books for "FREE"

Ugh, Canadian shoppers have to use the canada.buy.com service, which only offers $15.00 Cdn ($10.00 US) for free and only sells computer stuff.   Re: Age average

(...) So sad, so true. Lucky for me, I started working for my dad, I did a really big project for him and got more than $1000. But that can run out really fast when buying LEGO... And I still have half a year till I can get a drivers permit, so I (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.people)

  Unified UK Lego Web Page/Community?

+ Why? The loc.uk newsgroup is great, and searching it can reveal a whole host of useful information. But we are over 1900 messages now in just over a year.. and as I keep posting the signal to noise ratio will decline, and it'll get harder to find (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
