Mark Hodge's note in another thread reminded me of this subject I wanted
to bring up too.

Has anyone else experienced poor / slow service from this crowd? In my
experience their service is abysmal.

They don't deliver at weekends.

Which, if you live alone and work all week, means you have to make a two
hour round trip to their depot to pick up your LEGO.

On the other hand, some parcels are still delivered by the letters bit
of the Post Office, and there's a very thoughtful & nice lady who
delivers to me :-) (I'm not saying where she leaves the parcels when I'm
not in)

(...) My postman left a small packet for us under my door mat last week. The packet was about 100*100*150. It was rather obvious. Scott A (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
