I think probably because of the advertising and large quantity. There isn't room to display that many in the lego area. I feel it's perfectly fine to ask what something is worth. YOu may not get an answer but there is no harm asking, IMHO. I bought my mindstorms from the perth store about three months ago. They are kept in the seperate computer section .
