I feel it's perfectly fine to ask what something is worth. YOu may not
get an answer but there is no harm asking, IMHO.
Sometimes one may not want to take the bother of actually putting
something up for sale. Doing it right is a fair bit of work and if you
do a slipshod job you won't get top dollar.
And I'd say here is about as good a place as any on Lugnet(tm) for
asking.
