Attention all shopping -

I've just taken a look at www.toycity.com

Thei Lego prices look pretty reasonable, approx 75% of TRU/list price - and
they carry the full European train range.  DK how much shipping would be, but
it claims to be a UK site so it shouldn't be exorbitant.

Richard

Though their retail prices are slightly above UK shop prices, their discounted
prices are nevertheless competitive.
e.g. £63 for the supercar is good price compared to usual £75 in UK.
On smaller items it is probably not worth it as the shipping would remove the
difference.
Their are some bargains though, like the train.
Also a source of other train sets that are not in UK, at reasonable prices.

They are a Danish company, I couldnt see them claiming to be UK anywhere

A positive sign of hopefully coming trends of large web based, price
competitive sources of lego. Should give some of the UK based outfits who are
trying to trade over the net at UK high street prices something to think about.

A bit more competition and prices might fall!

lawrence
