  Question about 8480

I just finished building my 8480 Space Shuttle ($90 from the new Potomac Mills Lego Outlet Store). :-) My question is, isn't the "on/off knob" supposed to press the buttons on the battery box when it's turned? Or do I have to take the battery box (...) (25 years ago, 21-Nov-99, to lugnet.technic)

  RE: I NEED A PITCHFORK!!

I don't think it's an issue at all. It's obviously not illegal to make Lego-compatable pieces (ref. Tyco, Megablox, as well as non-clones that can be connected to Lego), just duplicating Lego pieces for which the patent hasn't expired. If you made a (...)   Re: Gear backlash

Hi. Russell is right. I did alot of this in my former life as a mechanical engineer, but it's not as difficult to do in LEGO(R) as one might think.
