Re: TRU venting (was Re: Prices of New Star Wars LEGO)

(...) As do I. I know they had a much better selection of LEGO sets than anyone, TRU looked like and still does a garbage store compared to them. They had a lot of sets that were not anywhere else, I do not know if they were from Europe or whatever, (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Line Following by Humans versus Bots

(...) Heh, good point. (...) Incidentally, in my robot I have solved my moving light sensor problem. Now I'm left to the tedium of properly linking all four corners of my synchro platform now that I can't just freely run things through the center. (...)   Re: idea for firmware development

(...) Well, it’s difficult to guess the size right now. But I'm almost sure that size of the extension itself (without kernel code) will be smaller. ;) Depending on application, size of Forth code comparable with size of assembler code. The whole (...)   FW: idea for firmware development

(...) Smaller? Sergey and I were discussing making the kernel a bit smaller, but so far my 10x10 maze robot takes up about 4K out of about 13K of application space. With better coding, I could probably shave about 1.5K off that. I find it hard to (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Is the LDraw parts database free?

(...) little (...) I have it and it's a great set. I'm pretty sure it was just a 'limited edition' type thing.   Re: compiling legOS

(...) getopt.h is part of the standard gnu C libraries. In a normal Linux system, it is in /usr/include/. What compiler are you using on Solaris? Is it gcc or something else?   Set 5909

Does anyone have any ideas as to why it's so difficult (nearly impossible) to find set 5909? It's the set with the tan bi-plane with white wings and a little jeep-truck thing.
